What is FPTA?
The Florida Professional Theatre Association was founded in 1981 and exists to foster a strong, statewide network of nonprofit professional theatre companies and theatre professionals. We host an annual statewide event of professional auditions, workshops, and networking among professional companies and theatre professionals, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for our first in-person event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For Professional Theatre Companies
Professional theatre companies based in Florida seeking to become a member of FPTA can benefit from access to our annual statewide audition events, networking events with other Florida-based professional theatre companies, and the opportunity to share information about job notices and audition opportunities with our mailing list.
2025 Professional Theatre Auditions
Dates Announced: May 17-19, 2025
FPTA is excited to announce that we will be reinstating our annual statewide audition event in the spring of 2025! Florida-based, non-profit professional theatre companies and performing artists are invited to join us for a weekend of workshops and auditions!
